How this site makes money
Today, it does not. There are no ads and no affiliate links on the site yet. This page says what we plan to add and the rules we will follow when we do.
What we may add
- Links to buy a game. A rules page may link to the game or to dice and cards on a store such as Amazon. If you buy through one of those links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Every such link will be labeled where it appears.
- Display ads. Once enough people use the site, we may run ads inside the page content. They will be marked as ads.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- No pop-ups, pop-unders or full-screen ads. Ever.
- The score keepers will never be blocked or slowed down to show an ad.
- Paid and affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow", which tells search engines they are commercial.
- No publisher or store pays to change what a rules page says. Rules come from the publisher's sheet and our own testing, not from who sells the game.
- Before any ad or affiliate code goes live, we update the privacy page first.
